Sometimes I feel like Brody has been with us forever. I sometimes forget the journey and the heartache we went through to finally get him here.
This time two years ago, we were in Guatemala meeting Brody for the first time. He was 5 months old. I remember sitting in the hotel watching fireworks out the window knowing that in a few short days I would have to give him up again. We weren't quite sure why we were seeing fireworks in Guatemala city since we were not in America. But hey, it happened and we enjoyed it. A moment I will never forget.
It took 6 long months before we got to see him again and finally bring him home forever. He has been such a blessing to us and can't imagine life without him. Its been a wild ride but the best ride I have taken in my life. It is with great Joy to celebrate this year at home.... with all of us... together... forever!

Rose! That was the sweetest slide show ever! I loved looking at all of Brody's pictures. He was the cutest little baby boy!! I love how Brody's faces changed to faces of smiles once he was in your family's care. You can tell he is one loved little boy:)
